Add Fixnote to your browser

1. 1Download Fixnote. fixnote-4.6.0.zip — unzip it somewhere you won’t delete, like your Documents folder.
2. 2Open your extensions page. Paste chrome://extensions into the address bar (Edge: edge://extensions).
3. 3Turn on Developer mode with the switch in the top-right corner.
4. 4Click “Load unpacked” and choose the unzipped fixnote folder. Fixnote opens this site by itself as soon as it’s in.
5. 5Pin it. Click the puzzle-piece icon in your toolbar and pin Fixnote.

Your browser may say the extension can “read and change data on all websites”. That’s what lets Fixnote draw on whatever page you’re looking at. It stays inactive on a tab until you click the icon.
